Yunzhi Huang is a building science researcher and technology developer. Since joining PNNL in 2009, she has been the technical lead in several award-winning studies and commercialized technologies, including Sensor Suitcase, and Cloud-based Smart Metering and Diagnostics System (SMDS). Her expertise lays in data-driven solution development, building simulation, software development and integration. Her research interests include building-related simulation, control optimization and technology development.

Before joining PNNL, she was an Sustainability Design Engineer at Skidmore, Ownings and Merill, and participated in engineering designs of large commercial projects such as Burj Khalifa, Pearl River Tower etc.
